After spending well over 3 years of my blogging life at 22goingon7, I’ve decided to launch a new independent website to showcase my work and talk shit about my career. For those of you that do not know, I am a full time father of 3 and a graphic and web designer for a local commercial printing company. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and I hope that you’ll be back often. My goals for this website are simple:
- Upload the first cartoon for my new series about life as a young parent -I’m in need of some help with an appropriate title, so I’m completely open to any suggestions.
- Post every single day.
- Showcase recent web and graphic design projects on a regular basis.
As I type, my daughter and I are watching Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and I’m enjoying a Bud-Light. She’s watching the movie while I pound on the keyboard and throw in my random Daddy comment; like, “Did you see his silly BIG nose?!” – this is life. A constant juggling act attempting to balance family and work; life and love. On the exterior, today might have seemed like just another day. But on the inside, something is happening…something good.
I’m near completion of a great website for a local plastic surgeon, Dr. Kelly Gallego, who recently moved to Sioux City to practice after spending his recent years in California! Dr. Gallego is such a gentleman and has been a pleasure to work with. We should be proud that a doctor of his caliber would choose Siouxland to call home, and I wish him the best of luck.
